Palladium or white gold wedding band? Palladium for those who don’t know is a mix between platinum and white
gold but is stronger and more durable than white gold. My husband accidently threw his in the trash or in the snow yesterday during the winter storm and cannot find it. It was a titanium, so it cannot be resized. We are purchasing a new one.

To set the record straight – palladium is not a man created material. Palladium is a rare and lustrous silvery-white metal that was discovered in 1803 by William Hyde Wollaston, it is a member of the platinum family. It is number 46 on the periodic table of elements and has a density of 12.023
14K Yellow gold:
(58.5% Gold) (4% Silver) (31.2% Copper) (6.3% Zinc)
14K White gold:
(58.5% Gold) (0.5% Silver) (27% Copper) (7% Zinc) (7% Nickel)
I’m a gold miner and knowing that all natural gold is yellow that is what my preference is. If your question is of durability and rarity of the metal then I would go with palladium.
